American companies have ruled the world with their amazing products and services that have always been beyond the imagination and basic needs of the world. And let’s be honest we can arguably say American products and services are one of the reasons why the United States is so ahead of the world.

But do you know what is even more interesting? The personalities that are leading these companies are mostly immigrants, especially from India. Officially most of the CEOs are American as they hold American nationality and are settled in the United States but belong to a different origin and are not real Americans.

The Chief executive officer (CEO) is the person at the top position (leader) of an organization and is responsible for running the organization. He is responsible for the implementation of plans and policies in the company and within its products and services, taking care of the financial health and goals of the company, and responsible for taking key decisions and strategic planning for the company.

CEO will be responsible if the company fails or progresses. He can also be the part owner of the company as most CEOs have company equities as well. This is been offered so that CEO can work more passionately for the betterment of the company. If the company grows, equity value grows too.

Arvind is an Indian – American corporate executive, currently the CEO and Chairman of IBM. He was born in the district of West Godavari of Andra Pradesh in India. IBM is famous for developing and selling computational hardware and software. Inventions such as Floppy Disk and Hard Disk drive are also under the belt of IBM.

Arvind became the CEO of the company in the year 2020 and started serving as the chairman in 2021.

Morgan Stanley is an American multinational company that deals with investment management and financial services. It is a well-known company worldwide when it comes to financing. He was born in Melbourne and did his bachelor’s at the University of Melbourne.

After 22 years in 2018, he secured the position of CEO, when the former Indian-origin CEO Indra Nooyi stepped down from her position.

As we all know KFC is an American multinational fast-food chain that specializes in fried chicken. It is the second largest food chain after Mcdonald’s and is located in 190 countries globally.

Like Shantanu Narayan, he was also born in Hyderabad and did his bachelor’s at the Manipal Institute of Technology in India. Later came to the United States for higher education.

Satya Nadella is one of the most famous CEOs and well-known personalities around the globe.

Arguably the most famous CEO, Sunder Pichai was born in Madurai, a city in the Tamil Nadu state of India. He did his Bachelor’s from IIT Kharagpur in India and came for higher education in the United States.

Sunder joined Google in 2004 and became CEO of Google in 2015. Later in 2019, he became the CEO of Alphabet, the parent company of Google.
